FYI--Construction On Gull Island
Clay Township's police chief would like everyone to be aware of the following information he has received from the Border Patrol:
There will be construction activity on Gull Island in the near future. Workers will be active 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There will be lights, noise, etc., throughout the night. There will also be a barge next to the island. Activity should also be expected near the Old Club on Harsens Island.
The tentative dates of work on the site will be from 2/13/2010 until 2/23/2010. These dates may be subject to change, due to weather and other issues.
